John is a native Oklahoman from the Oklahoma City area and started out nearly 15 years ago renovating his own houses and he's learned over the years how to build a house from the foundation up. Now creating and improving spaces has become a passion. In 2017 he turned that passion into a home building and renovation business that focuses on craftsmanship, durability, comfort, efficient design, and the desire to build better. From custom homes to small renovations, he's all about the details and loves adding those finishing touches that bring a project together.
Outside of the work, John enjoys working on home projects in Edmond, OK, spending time outside in the yard, and hanging out with his wife, Ginny, and their two boys.
Ginny grew up tearing pages out of her mother's Southern Living magazines so she could absorb and appreciate beautiful spaces and develop an eye for both timeless design elements and current trends. Her styling, design choices and critical eye are an integral part of what we do at Southern Oak.
Outside of the work, Ginny enjoys spending time baking at their home in Edmond, shopping for antiques, hunting for amazing estate sale finds, and spending time her husband, John and their two boys.
